Bay Boat Guides Results - Key Largo Area

Bay Boats are a rapidly growing segment of charter fishing here in the Florida Keys. These boats range in size from 19 to 24 feet, but float in about 14 inches of water due to their shallow hulls and wide beams. This makes them very versatile and stable boats that can accommodate up to 4 anglers. The Upper Keys has a unique ecosystem with the Florida Bay and Gulf of Mexico on the west side, and the Atlantic Ocean on the east. Whether you're looking to fish in the shallow estuaries of the Everglades National Park, or the reefs and wrecks in the Atlantic and Gulf, bay boats can deliver! These boats can fish up to 4 anglers and have a comfortable ride in just about any weather condition. Bay boat captains are unique in their ability to take you fishing for Snook, Redfish, Trout, Permit, Tarpon, and Jack Crevalles in the Everglades, and can also take you to the wrecks and reefs in the Atlantic and Gulf for Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, Mackerel and Sailfish. Most bay boats are well equipped with trolling motors, large livewells, and plenty of seating and storage. These boats are great for anglers who get sea sick on bigger boats, but still want to fish in the comfort of a bigger inshore boat. Prices range from $500-$800 for a full day depending on the size of the boat and number of anglers.
